The Ratliff Foundation is committed to handling information reasonably and confidentially.  Most of our site can be visited without giving us any information at all.  However, there are some points where information will need to be provided.  By providing the information to us, you are consenting to the information practices described in this privacy policy.

This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for www.ratliff-foundation.com.  This privacy policy applies solely to information furnished to this website.  It will notify you of what personally-identifiable information is collected from you through the website, how it is used, with whom it may be shared and what choices are available to your regarding the use of your data and the security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.

INFORMATION COLLECTION, USE, AND SHARING

The Ratliff Foundation is the sole owner of the information collect on this site.  We are the only ones who have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via emails, educational grant applications, donations, or contact forms.  The Ratliff Foundation will not sell information to anyone.  Your information may be used by us to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us.  The Ratliff Foundation will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization except as is reasonably necessary to fulfill your request.

YOUR ACCESS TO AND CONTROL OVER INFORMATION

You can change/correct any data we have about you, have us delete any data we have about you, or express any concern you have about our use of your data.

SECURITY

We take precautions to protect your information.  When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.  

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way.  You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline.  Only the Board of Trustees and Officers of the Ratliff Foundation are granted access to personally-identifiable information.   The computers/servers in which we store personally-identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.  

SHARING

We may share aggregated demographic information with our partners, but such information is not linked to any personal information which identifies an individual.

This website may, at times, contain links to other sites.  Please be aware we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites.  We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other sites which may collect personally-identifiable information.

UPDATES

Our privacy policy may change from time to time and, when it does change, all updates will be posted on this page.
